1. What is it?

Sixsense is a new service that finds people around you, locates your buddies, and creates communities through localized bulletin boards. And it does this all from your browser. Take the tour to learn more..

2. What do I need?

In order to use sixsense you will need to have the Firefox browser and a computer that is connected to the internet (ideally a Wi-Fi enabled laptop). Sixsense runs on every operating system that Firefox supports (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux).

3. What about Internet Explorer or Safari?

Sixsense for Internet Explorer is in the works, in the meantime, we highly encourage you to try out Firefox, you might be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, the Apple Safari browser does not have the functionality to support extensions. There is, however, a version of Firefox for the Mac.

4. Does sixsense still support smartphones?

Yes, the original sixsense software for smartphones is still available for download for older versions of Symbian and Windows Mobile smartphones. It is inter-operable with the current version of sixsense (meaning that phones and laptops can find each other).

5. Why only colleges?

We are focusing on colleges at first simply because they have a natural density of people.
